Business with Europe are hosting a flagship discussion on Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 18:30 which will examine Europe's competitiveness agenda, strategic autonomy and the implications for UK business.

The keynote speaker is Dave Keating who is a well known author and broadcaster based in Brussels. His recent book, "The Owned Continent", examined how to free the EU from the shackles of US cultural, economic and military dependence by using the power of the EU, especially in key areas such as technology. 

The event and panel discussion will be chaired by Paul Adamson, Chair of Forum Europe and founder of Encompass which is an online magazine dedicated to covering the EU and Europe's place in the world.
